THIS CHUTNEY CAN BE DONE EASILY IN 10 MINS. THIS GOES WELL WITH DOSA, IDLI AND CHAPATI.
INGREDIENTS
TO SAUTE AND GRIND :
OIL - 1 TSP
ONION - 1 BIG OR SMALL ONION - 15
TOMATOES - 2
SALT - TO TASTE
TURMERIC POWDER - 1/4 TSP
CHILLI POWDER - 1 TSP
CORIANDER POWDER - 1 TSP
GARAM MASALA - 1/2 TSP (OPTIONAL)
CHICKEN MASALA - 1/2 TSP (OPTIONAL)
SEASONING
OIL - 1 TSP
MUSTARD SEEDS - 1/2 TSP
URAD DAL - 1 TSP
CURRY LEAVES - 1 SPRIG
DRIED RED CHILLIES - 2
PROCEDURE :
STEP 1: TAKE A PAN, ADD ALL THE INGREDIENTS GIVEN UNDER TO SAUTE AND GRIND ONE BY ONE.
STEP 2: ALLOW THEM TO COOL AND GRIND THEM WITHOUT ADDING WATER TO A FINE PASTE
STEP 3: TAKE A PAN, ADD EVERYTHING UNDER SEASONINGS AND POUR IT TO THE GRINDED MIXTURE.
STEP 4: IF YOU WANT WATERY THEN AFTER SEASONING ADD THE FINE PASTE AND POUR LITTLE WATER.
STEP 5: SWITCH OFF THE FLAME AND ENJOY WITH DOSA, IDLI OR CHAPATI.
